Cheryl Hoss
Preschool, Level 1 Girls & Hotshots Instructor

Cheryl is a college graduate who has earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting Management and a minor in psychology, her favorite subject. She was also Student of the Year of all Sciences and Computers in 1990.

Cheryl is Pre-school Certifiied from USA Gymnastics. Besides teaching our Preschool program, she keeps very busy around here as she does all the Birthday Parties as well!  Cheryl keeps the parties fun and movin’!   In addition to teaching Gymnastics she loves Track, Cross Country,Tennis and car shows! 

Cheryl has three daughters, all of them students at KGA. Cheryl says:

"The thing I enjoy most about gymnastics is that II get to meet all kinds of kids and each has their own personality. You get to see their progress and how they grow."

Jennifer 'Jen' Nelson
Kindergym (ages 5-7) Instructor

Jen Nelson is a former student as well as long time staff member.  Jen currently attends OIT, Business Management/Communications (dual major) and graduated from Klamath Union High School in 2006.

"I began gymnastics at age 3 in Ann Arbor MI.  When I was 6, I moved to Klamath Falls and continued at Klamath Gymnastics Academy until I began High School, then did cheer, volleyball, and track."

Jen is a born leader, she was Captain of her cheer squad, volleyball, and track.

Jen is a very busy Young Woman these days.  Beside being a full time student at OIT she works at Klamath Eye clinic and of course is an instructor here.  She is also a high school-level destination imagination coach and a leader of the college acrobatic group Team Fast.

Jen feels the most influential person in her life is her mother.  "She taught me that there is nothing I can't do, no obstacle to big to overcome, and how to work to be the best person I can be."

She is amazing with the children. "I enjoy sharing important life lessons with the kids and teaching them what hard work and perserverance can do.  I like that gymnastics is not only fun, but a way to learn great values that you can use in every aspect of life."
